About Room 406 - ELA and Science
St. Martin of Tours Catholic School
September 4, 2017
Dear Families of St. Martin of Tours' seventh grade students,
Welcome to seventh grade at St. Martin's! As the school year begins, I want to introduce myself and to give you some information about the upcoming year. My name is Mr. Andrew Bevilacqua, and I am one of our school's two seventh grade teachers. This year, our students will be switching classes for different subjects, so Mrs. O'Neill, Mr. Pavonarius and I will all be teaching all of the seventh grade students each day. I will be teaching ELA (English Language Arts: reading, writing, spelling, vocabulary, and grammar) to most seventh graders and Science to all of them.
My priorities this year include not only completing the seventh grade curriculum and successfully preparing our students for eighth grade, but also ensuring that they have a safe, respectful, and enjoyable classroom environment and community here at school. Thank you for sending your children to St. Martin's and for entrusting my colleagues and me with this stage of their education. I look forward to my year instructing our students and to working with you to ensure that they have the best and most productive educational experience possible in seventh grade. If for any reason you wish to contact me, I have included the main office's phone number below along with my e-mail address.
Thank you so much for all that you are doing to support our students' education at St. Martin of Tours.
Sincerely,
Mr. Andrew Bevilacqua
